Where Do You Go From Here?

If we've accomplished our purpose, you are now motivated to really start studying the scripture in a way that will amaze you! As R. C. Sproul said after reading one of the best known preterist resources said, "But for me one thing is certain: I can never read the New Testament again the same way I read it before reading The Parousia. I hope better scholars than I will continue to analyze and evaluate the content of J. Stuart Russell's important work."

The implications of fulfilled eschatology are far reaching in terms of theology and its application in our time. Consequently it does make a difference what we believe. The links that follow represent a wide range of views within the preterist community. They don't all agree at every point and all of them are wrong on some points. We're wrong on some points and so are you! As soon as God opens our eyes to see where we are wrong, we will change!

As with all information, entertain it prayerfully. Ask God to guard your heart and mind as you exercise your liberty in Christ and explore the richness of His truth. There are still many who want to twist it to suit their purposes or to make a buck. Don't be mislead. In this study, as with any other, assemble a circle of friends to keep you accountable. Be sure to include some who disagree with you. They will be your greater source of guidance and growth.

Be quick to say "I don't know" and "You know, I believe your understanding is better than mine" when those statements are appropriate. There is no room for ego in seeking to know God's truth. The minute ego rises the pursuit of truth takes back seat to personal agendas. Avoid that at all cost and be very careful around those who exhibit such tendencies.
